Ferdinand T. Day (FTD) is a Title 1 school that serves a diverse population on the west end of Alexandria City. Most of our students speak a language other than English at home. There are more than 30 languages spoken by our families. To meet the needs of our diverse population, we incorporate Guided Language Acquisition Design (GLAD) strategies throughout all content areas.
